As an orthodontist, my highest priority is to give a wonderful, positive experience for our patients. I have devoted 36 years of my life to practicing orthodontics, and I love making people happy by giving them beautiful smiles. I want everyone who visits our practice to look forward to their visits and to leave happy!
Being an orthodontist is truly rewarding. Every day, I get the chance to help people attain beautiful, healthy smiles that they will enjoy for a lifetime. But the best part of what I do is simply getting to know the people who come to see us. Throughout their treatment, I can see their confidence grow as they attain a smile they are proud of. It’s a great feeling to know I have helped the wonderful patients I am honored to serve.
Education and Continuing Education
- BS Biology, Emory University, 1976
- Doctorate of Dental Surgery, Emory University, 1980
- Certificate in Orthodontics, Boston University, 1983
Although I completed my formal education in 1983, I have never stopped learning. I always use the latest technology for my patients in order to ensure the most effective and comfortable treatments possible. I enjoy branching out to new learning experiences, and I am always looking for better methods to enable more efficient, effective, and beautiful results for my patients.
In the Office
My staff is full of talented, compassionate individuals who truly care about our patients. Everyone here has been in the dental field for a combined total of 168 years, making our staff one of the most experienced in the area. They truly want to see everyone with straight teeth, and they go out of their way to make each patient feel like part of the family! #innovativeortho
Family and Community
Originally from Buffalo, New York, I now live in the metro Atlanta area with my husband. We have two grown sons, both of whom we are extremely proud. When I’m not creating beautiful smiles, I enjoy working out, cooking, traveling, and fishing. Golf is another favorite activity of mine; I once made a 158-yard hole-in-one!
Being involved in my community is important to me as well. In addition to the work I do with the CAP Dental Program for the Cobb County School District, I also participate in the East Cobber Festival every year in September, and am an active sponsor of local school events/programs. We are a collection center for Toys for Tots in the month of December. Feel free to connect with me on Google+!
